Architect secure, high-availability backend platforms for enterprise-scale AI integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-augmented backend architectures, including inference-aware service patterns and model serving strategies.
• Architect scalable, secure, and observable distributed systems using microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Champion developer experience by improving local tooling, CI/CD quality gates, and test automation.
• Ensure operational excellence through rigorous observability, performance tuning, incident response, and reliability engineering.
• Optimize backend performance for cost efficiency and high throughput.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience architecting distributed systems.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable).
• Experience integrating or developing with LLMs and Generative AI services within enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with observability tools and performance tuning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
