Description

You will build and maintain scalable API services using Node.js and MongoDB.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable REST API models and frameworks to manage data flow between MongoDB and the UI.
• Build API services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Maintain, support, and optimize existing APIs.
• Manage Unix-based deployments and monitor system resource performance.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Extensive experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Direct experience with MongoDB for data services.
• Experience with API Gateways and API performance testing.
• Proficiency with Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
• Knowledge of full-stack data flow from database to UI.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of web protocols and web server optimization techniques.
