Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend services and APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain API-level automated tests to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid feedback and deployment.
• Analyze test results, triage issues, and debug failures with development teams.
• Drive an "Automation First" approach targeting 100% automation coverage in test suites.
• Advocate for testability and maintainability across the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in functional and automation testing of microservices.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and scripting languages.
• Solid experience with API-level automation using Java or JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postman.
• Familiarity with CI tools like GitHub Actions.
