Description

You will build distributed software solutions and scalable services within AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable and reliable systems.
• Orchestrate interactions between frontend components and backend services via API development.
• Integrate new features, manage feature flags, and translate existing system features into new workflows.
• Test, deploy to multiple environments, and document design decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with full SDLC.
• 5+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design (OOD) and programming.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and related libraries.
• 3+ years of experience with REST APIs and RESTful architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services and infrastructure.
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodology and Scrum sprint cycles.
• BA or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) using TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, or API Gateway.
• Experience with Application Security and remediating security issues.
