Description

You will build scalable backend systems and own the full software development lifecycle within an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Build clean, reusable, and scalable code by enforcing software engineering best practices including code reviews and unit testing.
• Own code from initial design and implementation through to test automation and final delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate detailed requirements into functional software.
• Contribute to the design of new products and features while maintaining the existing product suite.
• Mentor colleagues to promote technical knowledge-sharing across the team.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, or React.
• Practical experience developing applications using microservices and container technologies.
• Hands-on experience with container management systems such as Kubernetes or ECS.
• Experience setting up and working within AWS environments, specifically AWS Lambda and serverless technologies.
• Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of SQL and performance-scale considerations.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
