Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Architect backend services using asynchronous programming to handle concurrent requests.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth2.
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure stability and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and the FastAPI framework.
• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrent processing in Python.
• Hands-on implementation of JWT and OAuth2 for API security.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
