Description

You will design, architect, and build scalable web applications and microservices within multi-cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services and microservices.
• Deploy, debug, and monitor applications across IBM Cloud and other multi-cloud environments.
• Identify improvement areas within existing product modules and features.
• Collaborate with the Architecture team to prototype and implement new frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Expertise in Java and J2EE, including servlets, JSP, JSF, and JDBC.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Experience writing REST APIs and complex database queries.
• Hands-on experience with Node JS.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and Cloudant DB.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying tools in IBM Cloud and other multi-cloud environments.
