Description

You will own the backend development and maintenance of C-based applications for post-trade financial workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and backend system specifications.
• Develop and maintain C-based backend applications for post-trade and transaction processing.
• Integrate C applications with C#/.NET services to support financial processing systems.
• Design data models, optimize SQL queries, and tune database schemas for performance.
• Manage EOD batch processes, perform incident triage, and resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably in financial services or enterprise systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C programming for production-grade applications.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex query optimization and schema design.
• Experience designing and supporting backend systems for complex, high-availability workflows.
• Ability to integrate backend systems with C# and .NET services.
• Experience managing scheduled batch/EOD processing systems with a focus on stability.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to financial domain workflows, specifically post-trade processing.
• Experience leading modernization efforts, including refactoring and service enablement.
