Roles & Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and backend system specifications.
• Develop and maintain C-based backend applications for post-trade workflows.
• Design and implement data models, backend services, and system integrations.
• Integrate C applications with C#/.NET services for financial processing systems.
• Lead or support modernization efforts including refactoring and service enablement.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and reliability improvements.
• Write optimized SQL queries and support complex database design and tuning.
• Manage scheduled (EOD/batch) processes with strong focus on stability and observability.
• Perform incident triage, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Develop runbooks and automate operational processes for recurring tasks.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards across teams.
• Collaborate with business users for UAT, validation, and functional demonstrations.

Experience Required:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in backend development in financial services or enterprise systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C programming for production-grade applications.
• Experience designing and supporting backend systems for complex workflows.
• Strong SQL skills including query optimization and schema design.
• Experience working with batch/EOD processing systems in production environments.
• Exposure to financial domain workflows such as post-trade processing is preferred.
• Experience integrating backend systems with C#/.NET services.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and incident management skills.
• Experience working in high-availability or mission-critical systems.
• Good understanding of SDLC and production support processes.
