Description

You will own the development and maintenance of C-based backend applications for financial post-trade workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and backend system specifications for production-grade applications.
• Develop and maintain C-based backend services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Design data models and implement system integrations, including C applications with C#/.NET services.
• Write optimized SQL queries, support complex database design, and manage scheduled EOD/batch processes.
• Perform incident triage, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution while automating operational tasks.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in backend development within financial services or enterprise systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C programming for high-availability systems.
• Proficient in SQL, including query optimization, schema design, and database tuning.
• Experience integrating backend systems with C#/.NET services.
• Proven ability to manage batch/EOD processing systems with a focus on stability and observability.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and incident management skills in mission-critical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to financial domain workflows such as post-trade and transaction processing.
• Experience leading modernization efforts, including refactoring and service enablement.
