Description

Own end-to-end development and testing for backend systems and feeds.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new feeds, specifically Whitehorse Feeds.
• Verify software functionality on new RedHat Linux OS patch releases.
• Remediate security code issues within the codebase.
• Execute end-to-end development and testing cycles.
• Write and execute database queries for data verification.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C programming language.
• Experience with RedHat Linux OS (RHEL) and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting, including Korn Shell and Perl.
• Database experience using MySQL, Vertica, Apache Hive, and HiveQL.
• Familiarity with Git, Make, and PHP.
• Experience with HTML and JavaScript for GUI applications.
• Experience with Apache web server.
