Build and maintain backend services with a focus on numerical accuracy and clean abstractions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs using relational databases and ORMs.
• Manage asynchronous workflows, background processing, and service integrations.
• Model complex domain abstractions while maintaining high standards for code naming and structure.
• Ensure numerical precision within multi-currency or financial contexts.
• Collaborate with the team to implement scalable backend logic.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming.
• Expertise in API design.
• Experience with JWT and OAuth implementation.
• Experience working with relational databases and ORMs.
• Ability to manage asynchronous workflows and background processing.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial applications, accounting systems, or investment platforms.
• Knowledge of secure API design, KYC/AML compliance flows, or multi-tenant systems.
• Interest in Domain-Driven Design, event sourcing, or temporal logic.
