Description

You will develop and maintain backend services supporting live production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Node.js.
• Migrate existing applications from Java to Node.js with minimal downtime.
• Implement fixes, enhancements, and optimizations for live production applications.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for frontend integration.
• Leverage AI-powered IDEs and tools for debugging and accelerating development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Node.js.
• Proven experience working with live production systems.
• Strong understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor AI, Copilot).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy Java services to Node.js.
