Description

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer – Golang to join our team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing scalable backend applications, database optimization, event-driven architectures, and high-performance distributed systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Golang.
Design, build, and optimize relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including schemas, indexing, and query performance.
Develop and maintain event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for reliable and scalable data streaming.
Utilize Redis and other caching technologies to improve application performance, scalability, and response times.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Business, and other cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver quality solutions.
Take ownership of features and projects end-to-end, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and production-ready code while participating in peer reviews and maintaining coding standards.
Implement automated testing strategies to ensure application reliability, performance, and quality across development and production environments.
Monitor live applications, troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and continuously improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Golang
Strong experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
Strong understanding of database schema design, indexing, and query optimization
Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar event-streaming technologies
Experience developing event-driven and distributed backend systems
Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies is a plus
Strong understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and production support
