Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices using Golang, Java, or Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful and event-driven APIs with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and architecture decisions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and containerized deployments.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of: Golang, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control (Git).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event streaming or messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Knowledge of observability tools for logging, monitoring, and tracing.
