Description

You will design, implement, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs for digital products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test new features for RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to build reusable, scalable services.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and performance testing.
• Implement data access controls, monitor system events, and resolve data issues.
• Support product releases and maintain comprehensive API documentation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in API and server-side development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with C# and Java.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, specifically EC2 and Lambda.
• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases and MongoDB data modeling.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API security including OAuth, JWT, and OpenAPI.
• Experience with API Gateway, CDNs, and message queue systems.
• Familiarity with background task management and microservices.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced AWS experience with S3 and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of front-end development for full-stack collaboration.
