Description

Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems and event-driven applications within the payments industry. Ensure production system availability, performance, security, and scalability while serving as the primary contact for incident triage and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and triage service incidents as the primary point of contact for LiveOps/GCX.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to scale service capacity for traffic spikes up to 20x normal load.
• Create service health dashboards, implement monitoring alarms, and maintain service SOPs.
• Work with core engineering to address bugs and deploy services across environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience building large, reliable, and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven applications.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps principles and continuous delivery.
• Background in the payments industry.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with WebSockets.
