Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices. You own the full lifecycle from development to deployment in public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain API microservices using SpringBoot and Java.
• Design and deliver DevOps automation for application deployment and testing via CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and deploy microservices to cloud platforms, primarily GCP.
• Program and optimize database interactions using SpannerDB, Oracle, or CosmosDB.
• Execute iteration plans to deliver assignments within scope, schedule, and budget.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of application development experience in Java.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in API microservices development using SpringBoot.
• Experience developing and running applications in public cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps automation.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with SpringBatch and deploying to Cloud (GCP or Azure).
• 1+ years of experience with distributed cache technologies like Redis.
• Experience with event/pub-sub technologies such as GCP Pub/Sub or Kafka.
