Description

You will build and maintain Python-based backend systems for a 6-month contract.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
• Create and manage APIs using FastAPI to support various applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic in collaboration with front-end developers.
• Implement and optimize data models and workflows using Django or Flask.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and debugging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience developing APIs with FastAPI.
• Experience working with Django or Flask frameworks.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Experience with database management and design using SQL and NoSQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with agile methodologies.
