Description

Design and maintain large-scale, data-intensive backend services using Java and web frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Django, or Tornado.
• Build data-intensive applications with a focus on object-oriented design and algorithmic efficiency.
• Integrate NoSQL databases, caching layers, and streaming technologies into the application architecture.
• Collaborate with global technical and business audiences to solve complex domain-specific problems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Django or Tornado frameworks.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Capital markets experience working with financial data and instruments like Equities, Fixed Income, or Derivatives.
• Knowledge of credit products, trading systems, or MiFID reporting.
