Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and modern web frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Django or Flask.
• Manage database interactions with PostgreSQL and MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Implement message streaming solutions using Apache Kafka for asynchronous processing.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on AWS or Azure to ensure reliable releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Django or Flask web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL database management.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra.
• Proficiency in Linux system-level operations and command-line tools.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and data structures.
• Experience with version control (Git) and complex branching strategies.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Pytest.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data technologies.
• Practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) workflows.
