Description

You will build and maintain server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop server-side applications and RESTful APIs.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Identify and resolve backend performance bottlenecks to ensure stability under load.
• Implement secure coding practices, including authentication and data protection.
• Conduct peer code reviews, write clean code, and perform unit and integration testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and Express.js.
• Solid experience with SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Proven track record of designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with cloud services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of security best practices such as JWT, OAuth, XSS, and CSRF prevention.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
