Description

Build and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs within an AWS ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document reusable RESTful APIs and shippable code for digital products.
• Collaborate with architects and cloud engineering to ensure services are secure and functional.
• Implement data access controls, monitoring events, and policies to resolve system issues.
• Perform pair programming, systems integration, performance testing, and product releases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in API and server-side development using JavaScript and Node.js.
• 8+ years of experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (EC2 and Lambda/Serverless).
• 8+ years of experience developing NoSQL databases, designing data models, and querying document stores like MongoDB.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C#, or Python alongside mandatory JavaScript fluency.
• Experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Proven track record with CI/CD solutions, Docker, and message queue systems.
• Knowledge of API security frameworks including OAuth, JWT, and OpenAPI.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant technical or cloud certifications.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
