Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize microservices using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS using Kubernetes (EKS), RDS, S3, and IAM.
• Write and maintain unit tests (Jest/Vitest) and end-to-end tests (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium).

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
• AWS Cloud services including EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Testing frameworks: Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Healthcare, LIMS, or FDA-regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Confluent, Redox, EHR integration, or Jama.
