Description

You will build and maintain backend services in a microservices architecture using Java and Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Spring Boot Reactive.
• Design systems for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Manage event-driven pipelines and multi-threaded, 3-tier architectures.
• Implement testing strategies to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Product Management teams to integrate new features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot Reactive.
• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, SQS, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Deploying code using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and standard design patterns.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of web services, caching, and multi-threaded systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within public cloud environments.
