Description

You will build and maintain distributed backend systems using Java and AWS serverless technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Spring Boot and Hibernate in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services for distributed applications.
• Manage serverless deployments using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild, CodeCommit, and CodePipeline.
• Integrate applications via SOAP/REST, ESB, JMS, and various file/data transfer protocols.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of programming experience with Java and J2EE.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience with AWS services including Kinesis, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency with AWS deployment tools: CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, and CLI/YAML/CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed environments.
• Experience with XML and REST/Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with serverless deployment patterns.
• Background in Agile Scrum software development methodologies.
