Description

You will design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant streaming data platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement streaming data platforms using Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
• Develop self-service infrastructure patterns and tools for internal data consumption and processing.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability within Kubernetes environments.
• Automate deployment workflows using Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the platform technical roadmap.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend or platform engineering experience focused on distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka (Kafka Streams, Connect) and Apache Flink.
• Hands-on experience managing workloads in Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with cloud-native services in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong debugging skills for distributed systems.
