Description

You will migrate legacy applications into REST-based microservices using Spring Boot, handling full CRUD capabilities. You will containerize services with Docker, deploy via GitLab to AWS or OpenStack, and configure monitoring with CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Insights. You will implement security protocols (OAuth/JWT), analyze performance with JMeter, resolve SonarQube/Veracode vulnerabilities, and write unit tests. You will also build reusable components and services using TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing applications into Spring Boot microservices with full CRUD capabilities.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment pipelines via GitLab to AWS or OpenStack.
• Configure AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Insights for application logging and dashboarding.
• Implement security protocols using OAuth or JWT tokens with Authorizers.
• Analyze performance using JMeter, resolve vulnerabilities from SonarQube/Veracode, and create unit tests.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in application development.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL, JPA, and Hibernate (Entity Manager).
• Proficiency in Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services including CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Insights.
• Knowledge of Multithreading and performance tuning.
• Experience with TypeScript for building reusable components and services.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the Banking or Payments domain.
• Experience with static code analyzers like SonarQube or Veracode.
