Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs with a focus on performance and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for high-scale applications.
• Own end-to-end feature development from implementation to production support.
• Manage and optimize data operations using MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and handle high-pressure situations.
• Contribute to system design decisions for resilient, high-traffic SaaS applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of strong backend engineering experience in product-based companies.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience working with MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of event-driven systems and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
