Description

Design and implement low latency services, leading end-to-end implementations for medium to large projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery phase to produce high-level system designs.
• Direct small engineering groups of 3-4 engineers.
• Execute data feed ingestion, orchestration, and service implementations.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues to ensure objectives are met.
• Develop innovation strategies and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with large scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, or Cassandra).
• Advanced knowledge of system architecture, performance, and scalability.
• Ability to design systems with a focus on reducing technical debt.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
