Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Java, or Python. You own the full lifecycle of microservices and RESTful APIs in a distributed system.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement NoSQL data models using MongoDB, including collections, documents, and indexing strategies.
• Optimize MongoDB queries, aggregations, and performance tuning for large-scale applications handling unstructured data.
• Build and maintain microservices-based systems ensuring seamless integration with frontend and product teams.
• Handle production issues, debugging, and root cause analysis to improve system reliability and fault tolerance.
• Drive technical discussions and architecture decisions for database strategy and security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Deep expertise in MongoDB, including data modeling, aggregation framework, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of NoSQL database concepts and distributed systems.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience working with cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience leading a team or handling modules independently in Agile/Scrum environments.
