Description

You will build and maintain core backend systems enabling AI agent functionality, including APIs, scrapers, and database connectors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend tooling, including APIs, scrapers, and database connectors for AI agents.
• Implement complex reasoning chains and multi-agent coordination using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Engineer and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using Vector Databases for context retrieval.
• Manage long-running AI reasoning cycles using asynchronous Python (FastAPI/Asyncio) and task queues.
• Design and implement secure, high-performance REST or GraphQL APIs interfacing with the frontend.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience with Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and Asyncio.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and practical experience with Vector Databases.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Mastery of Git and CI/CD best practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems necessary for handling LLM application latency.
• Experience implementing backend validation and guardrails for autonomous actions.

Preferred Skills

• Programmatic knowledge of Prompt Engineering (dynamic prompt templating).
• Familiarity with AI observability tools like LangSmith or Arize Phoenix.
