Description

You will design and architect cloud-based backend solutions for medical software applications, owning the full-stack architecture from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design cloud-based solutions in collaboration with the Cloud Engineering team.
• Build and maintain interfaces for Ultrasound DICOM, EMR, OAuth, and Single Sign-on (SSO).
• Develop a workflow engine to automate and manage application processes.
• Implement software that meets HIPAA, Cybersecurity, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud service architecture.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and RESTful application frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Ability to work with US teams with overlap in PST hours.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with healthcare protocols including DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and LDAP.
• Experience designing for HIPAA, Cybersecurity, and HITRUST requirements.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 and medical product design control processes.
