Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using Node.js and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Design backend systems with a focus on scalability, availability, and fault tolerance.
• Design, deploy, and manage backend services on AWS, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas and implement caching strategies using Redis.
• Debug production issues, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and Express.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Redis or similar caching systems.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
