Description

Backend Engineer L2 for scalable systems and API integrations in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex backend tools and scalable system architectures.
• Model and optimize database schemas for performance using MySQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate with product teams to build Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Break down complex projects into scoped tasks and provide high-level estimates.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and QA within a scrum-based agile environment.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of experience developing scalable products and applications.
• Proficiency in Python and expertise in at least one backend framework, preferably Django.
• Hands-on experience with in-memory data stores like Redis or Memcached.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
