Description

You will build and maintain backend systems, managing data migration from legacy DB2 to AWS, and developing serverless data pipelines and API integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable Java code for core backend systems and integration layers.
• Migrate legacy DB2 schemas and data into AWS as part of the NextGen modernization effort.
• Build, deploy, and monitor ETL data flows using AWS Glue and event-driven Lambda functions.
• Manage and optimize data storage and analytics in AWS Redshift.
• Develop reliable integration points to ingest structured and unstructured data from internal and external APIs.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and core backend development practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue for ETL processes.
• Practical experience with AWS Lambdas for serverless computing.
• Experience working with AWS Redshift for data warehousing.
• Proven experience with API ingestion and handling JSON and XML data formats.
• Familiarity with IBM DB2 legacy systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data migration projects.
• Knowledge of modernization patterns for legacy enterprise systems.
