Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Implement data storage solutions and optimize queries using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Build and maintain microservices architecture for scalable system performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth to secure APIs.
• Write automated tests and collaborate with DevOps to deploy infrastructure on cloud platforms.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js with hands-on experience in Express.js.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with database design and management using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform deployment.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
