Description

You will build and maintain backend systems for telephony and VoIP applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend systems for telephony and VoIP applications.
• Integrate and optimize APIs including OAI, Elevenlabs, Deepgram, and FreeSWITCH.
• Build scalable telephony products with a focus on switch time, bridge-to-connect time, and voicemail detection accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within telephony systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience developing telephony and VoIP products.
• Deep expertise in FreeSWITCH or similar telephony platforms.
• Experience optimizing switch time and reducing bridge-to-connect time.
• Experience improving voicemail detection by reducing false positive and negative rates.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OAI API, Elevenlabs, and Deepgram.
• Understanding of network protocols and telecommunication standards.
• Prior experience in telecom-related roles.
