Build and maintain backend systems powering agentic workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend tools including APIs, scrapers, and database connectors for AI agents.
• Implement complex reasoning chains using LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Engineer and optimize data ingestion and retrieval pipelines using Vector Databases.
• Manage long-running AI reasoning cycles using async Python and task queues.
• Design and implement secure, high-performance REST or GraphQL APIs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience with Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and Asyncio.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and experience with Vector Databases.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of distributed systems relevant to LLM applications.
• Mastery of Git and CI/CD best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of programmatic Prompt Engineering (dynamic prompt templating).
• Familiarity with AI observability tools like LangSmith or Arize Phoenix.
