Description

Role Responsibilities
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Django REST Framework
• Model relational data in PostgreSQL with attention to indexing and query performance
• Write unit and integration tests; uphold code quality through reviews
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy via our CI/CD pipeline
• Add observability (metrics, logs, traces) to diagnose issues quickly
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on API contracts and versioning

Essential Skills
• 2+ years professional Python backend development
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Proficient in PostgreSQL schema design and SQL tuning
• Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployment
• Experience with caching (Redis) and async job queues (Celery, RQ)
• Bachelor''s in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
