Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs. You own the full lifecycle from code to deployment, ensuring performance and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
• Model relational data in PostgreSQL, optimizing for indexing and query performance.
• Write unit and integration tests, and enforce code quality through peer reviews.
• Containerize services with Docker and manage deployments via the CI/CD pipeline.
• Add observability (metrics, logs, traces) to diagnose and resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL schema design and SQL tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Experience implementing caching with Redis.
• Familiarity with async job queues such as Celery or RQ.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating on API contracts and versioning with frontend teams.
