Description

You will build and maintain backend services running on AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all software development phases from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Manage deployment and operations for services running in the cloud.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve system throughput and reliability.
• Develop repeatable and reliable backend systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Proficiency in Rust or Java.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including IAM and Lambda.
• Experience working with NoSQL or document databases.
• Knowledge of AWS Fargate.
• Experience using AWS SNS and SQS.
• Practical understanding of cloud computing concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
