Description

You will build and maintain backend systems focused on telephony and VoIP technologies in São Paulo.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems that interface with telephony and VoIP protocols.
• Integrate and optimize APIs including OAI, Elevenlabs, Deepgram, and FreeSWITCH.
• Optimize switch time, reduce bridge-to-connect time, and improve voicemail detection accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telephony systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building products around telephony and VoIP technologies.
• Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH or similar telephony platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize switch time and reduce bridge-to-connect time.
• Experience reducing false positive and negative rates in voicemail detection.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and the use of OS libraries.
• Any Graduate degree.
