You will own the full software development lifecycle, from design and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend systems using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, Next.js) and Java (Spring).
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, serverless architectures, and microservices.
• Manage relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, EventBridge) and Terraform.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and handle container orchestration with Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js and Next.js.
• Professional experience with Java and Spring framework.
• Strong knowledge of AWS serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, EventBridge, SQS, Kinesis).
• Experience with GraphQL and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD for build and deployment.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Ability to create system architecture and sequence diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend development in React.js or Next.js.
