Description

Build and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud infrastructure for distributed services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle from design and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop backend solutions using Node.js, Next.js, and Java (Spring) to build scalable, high-performance systems.
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, serverless architectures, and workflow orchestrations with state machines.
• Utilize AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, EventBridge, SQS, Kinesis, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk) for deployment and management.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, and use Terraform and Kubernetes for infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js and Next.js.
• Professional experience with Java and the Spring framework.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including ORM tools.
• Deep knowledge of AWS serverless computing (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, EventBridge).
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD for build, test, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure management.
• Ability to create system architecture and sequence diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend development in React.js or Next.js.
