You design, develop, and implement scalable web-based Java applications to meet business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web-based Java applications and microservices.
• Create design documents and perform coding, debugging, and testing.
• Resolve technical issues by researching and investigating root causes.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Automation stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented programming with Java 8+.
• 5+ years developing scalable microservices and optimized RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• 5+ years using JUnit for unit testing applications.
• 5+ years working in an Agile SCRUM environment.
• Solid grasp of software design patterns and distributed computing concepts.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies (SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Experience with Kafka or other event streaming services.
• Experience with automated CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Prior enterprise experience with Azure or other cloud technologies.
