Description

Build and maintain n-tier applications using Java/J2EE and RESTful services, leading high-level designs for medium to large projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop n-tier applications using Java/J2EE, RESTful services, and NoSQL technologies like CosmosDB.
• Lead the discovery phase for medium to large projects to produce high-level designs.
• Manage code and configurations across multiple environments, including release management and code integrity controls.
• Analyze business requirements and storyboards within an agile development environment.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues, providing solutions for design and development problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience in Java/J2EE, REST services, Apache, and Tomcat.
• 10+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applications.
• 8+ years of experience building services using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• 4+ years of experience with NoSQL databases, preferably CosmosDB.
• Proficiency with Git, Ant, and Unix Shell scripting.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience configuring and deploying applications on J2EE servers such as WebLogic or WebSphere.
• Experience with Eclipse, Maven, and building high-performance scalable systems.
