Description

Design and implement data pipelines and database capabilities within Google Cloud Platform. Own end-to-end application delivery and production deployment coordination.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance code and ensure quality through unit testing and code reviews.
• Build and deploy components using CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Monitor application health and KPIs, performing root cause analysis for complex data issues.
• Optimize applications for non-functional requirements and advocate for security best practices.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data using ETL processes.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery and Spanner.
• Experience developing data pipelines using Dataflow.
• Hands-on experience integrating with Composer, Airflow, or other schedulers.
• Ability to build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of OLTP and Data Warehouse data models.
• Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bulk loads and streaming load integration.
