Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backend Integration Engineer with strong expertise in event-driven architecture, API development, and cloud-based integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microsoft Azure services, Kafka, and distributed system design. This role focuses on building scalable backend services, implementing resilient workflows, and supporting multi-cloud integrations across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot for enterprise systems.
• Design and maintain REST API contracts for system integrations.
• Implement asynchronous workflows, resiliency patterns, and failover strategies.
• Work with Azure services including AKS, ARO, API Management, Storage, Data Factory, Functions, and Cosmos DB.
• Support multi-cloud architecture strategies involving Azure and GCP.
• Develop and optimize database schemas and data models.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to support OMS integrations and marketplace platforms.
• Participate in architecture design discussions and contribute to scalable system development.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in backend engineering and enterprise integrations.
• Strong programming expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL schema design and relational databases such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with Cosmos DB modeling and Cassandra database technologies.
• Experience using Liquibase for database schema management.
• Understanding of distributed systems, resiliency patterns, and asynchronous workflows.

• Understanding of SAP OMS order lifecycle.
• Familiarity with .NET / ASP.NET applications for OMS UI integrations
