Description

You will lead the technical direction and architectural evolution of our backend systems, managing a team of onshore and offshore engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, maintainable backend architectures and lead the transition from monolithic to microservices.
• Manage a team of backend engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Define and enforce coding guidelines, automation processes, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Partner with cloud architects to deploy and optimize applications on AWS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• 1+ years of experience leading a development team.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in MySQL and relational database design.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Hibernate.
